Turns out there is a college summer ball team scheduled to play at J.P. Riddle Stadium this year, as the Fayetteville Swampdogs did for the last 20 years or so, and the FTCC Trojans will in the future. They are part of the Old North State Baseball League, which looks like it started play in other NC towns last year.
Their team name is the Carolina Coyotes.
